Vascular & Interventional Radiology (VIR) Class 3 Imaging Suite

MHAworks provided design services to transform an existing clinic space at UNC Hospital into a new VIR Class 3 imaging room. The scope includes a Class 3 imaging room, control room, imaging equipment room, a waiting room, clean and soiled utility rooms, supply storage room, and a procedure room.

Vascular and interventional radiology (VIR) is a medical-subspecialty of radiology that utilizes minimally invasive image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat medical conditions in every organ system. The modular diffuser array includes color changing LED lights and medical gas booms were also provided as part of the project.
