The Garage Apartments

Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, this mixed-use building is efficiently designed to take advantage of a tight urban site. The Garage Apartments consists of 27 residential units, five live-work townhomes, and a 750 square foot commercial space. Each unit features wood floors and private outdoor spaces.

Residents also have access to a Green Roof System with a pollinator meadow, which demonstrates how even a small roof can make a big impact on the ecological health of a city. This is a positive step towards developing an urban community that supports native pollinator populations, reduces heat island effect, and allows the rain to evaporate and plants to transpire similar to as they would in nature.
