Rhubarb Restaurant

Located in the heart of downtown Asheville, Rhubarb has served as one of Asheville’s most popular restaurants for more than a decade. From the moment visitors walk through Rhubarb’s doors, they are immediately welcomed by the smells of fresh food and a cozy, rustic interior dining space.

MHAworks was hired to renovate this restaurant before opening to the public. Maintaining continuity between new additions and the rustic aesthetic of the building was important during this renovation. A wood-fired oven and grill complement the original rustic features of the building and the style of the bar pays tribute to early 20th century cocktail culture.
