Grace Place

Grace Place was designed to pave the way for new, improved affordable housing in Durham, North Carolina. This new development will include around 200 units with studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments; table-top parking, exterior community spaces, and tenant space on the bottom floor.

One of the unique aspects of Grace Place is the built-in bus stop located on one side of the building. Typically, bus stops are free standing shelters or just a sign on a pole, but Grace Place will have the first bus stop built into the building in the Triangle. This bus stop was designed so that the city bus, Go Triangle, could safely pick up passengers without blocking the street. Bus riders will have a safe, sheltered area to stand or sit while waiting for the bus to arrive.
