Asheland Condominiums

Located half a block from Patton Avenue on the South Slope, 45 Asheland offers modern condominium living in downtown Asheville. This seven-story building offers a mixture of 38 one-, two-, and three-bedroom residences, some of which operate as short-term rental units and Airbnbs. Residents of 45 Asheland enjoy a variety of amenities including secure and deeded parking, spacious balconies overlooking downtown and the Blue Ridge Mountains, storage spaces, and luxurious appointments.

This project was designed to reinforce the City’s efforts in developing a pedestrian-friendly downtown. By having the rental units face Asheland Avenue, a downtown street close to several restaurants and stores, this condominium community meets several requirements of a safe pedestrian infrastructure. Attainable housing at varying income levels, safe paths for biking and walking, and access to shopping, parks, and other spaces are a few elements of safe pedestrian infrastructure.
