Four Points Mixed-Use Development

The Four Points Mixed-Use project is a condominium and apartment addition to an existing 3.5-acre hotel site owned by Hulsing Hotels. The proposed plans include a 477,000 square-foot addition and renovation including residential for-sale and rental units, retail space, a grocery store, and a rooftop restaurant with outdoor dining and views of Mt. Pisgah and downtown Asheville.

These new mixed-use spaces will bring full-time activity to the site and will support the growth of a pedestrian-oriented development in downtown Asheville. Residences will be one-, two, or three bedroom units, ranging from 800-1,600 square feet, accessible through private entry, and include private balconies. Other features include a private owners’ clubhouse and terrace as well as a multi level underground parking structure for residents and visitors.

This project will be the largest development Asheville has seen since the construction of the Grove Arcade. The development will feature several key benefits to the community including Green Globes certification and 10 affordable apartment units. The green features of the project include high-efficiency mechanical and electrical lighting systems, enhanced building envelope, and a green roof.

The Four Points Mixed-Use is designed to be perceived not as a single large structure, but as multiple buildings with different heights and exterior materials.
