The experience of MHAworks and staff encompasses 16 North Carolina Community Colleges, 12 components of the UNC System, as well as Duke, Elon, Methodist Universities, Mt. Olive, St. Andrews and Louisburg Colleges. The work covers over 30 years of growth and innovation in higher education design, during which time our designers have helped to discover the elements of durable, quality, common sense buildings that make lasting impressions on the communities they serve.
Our work includes new buildings that represent the highest level of modern design, sensitive historic renovations, and careful infill projects that are intended to fit comfortably within existing architectural contexts. We have designed office and technical facilities for local, county, state, and federal agencies. This work has ranged from Judicial and Law Enforcement to Fire and EMS to Social Services and Health to Parks, Recreation and Department Offices as well as Facilities and Maintenance.
