Charlie Tennant, LEED AP
Intern Architect
After graduating from North Carolina State University College of Design in 2006 with a Bachelors in Architecture, Charlie has been practicing his profession for over 6 years, gaining experience in civic, community, commercial, office, and residential types. His interest in architecture began with a passion for problem solving and the potential for creative solutions given pragmatic constraints. He feels privileged to have the opportunity to design and build in the communities where he has grown up. His desire to design responsibly led him to acquiring LEED accreditation and advocating for sustainability wherever possible. His inclinations for studio art, such as painting and drawing, have led to an interest in supporting and engaging the local art scene. In addition to his architectural pursuits, he enjoys traveling to new places, hiking in the mountains, cooking and trying new cuisines; of course always more so when he shares these with his family and friends.
