Construction Management

With over 30 years of experience in Construction Administration, our approach includes collaborating with the contractor and owner to identify potential problems, meeting with the GC and key subcontractors to assure their focus and understanding of the documents and process, and providing guidance to the Contractor for ways to improve the schedule.

Based on the assumption that the contractor, owner and designer are acting as the construction team, our role is to assure that the contract documents are adhered to and assist the other team members in executing them. To that end, our construction administrator visits the site weekly to observe conditions and the quality of work being performed by the contractor and its sub-contractors. The progress in accordance with the contractor’s schedule is verified. If the progress falls behind schedule, then a recovery schedule is acquired.

Our methodology speaks for itself with more than 80% of our clients bringing us repeat business, including 150+ projects with UNC Hospitals since 1988, 50+ projects with Rex HealthCare since 1996, and 27 projects with UNC Chapel Hill since 1990.
