has completed the historic restoration of the building for TMK Properties, LLC, Inc. The restoration included removing the brick skin throughout, and replacing the exterior windows to match their original design. The interior will also be restored to its original condition for adaptive reuse. The Blount Harvey Building, located in downtown Greenville, North Carolina, was erected in 1916 as the Blount Harvey department store. In the 1960s the original facade was covered by a flat brick skin that was supported by large steel beams that were pocketed into the original brick columns. All upper level windows were removed and their openings filled with masonry.
