renovated an existing 70,000 sf abandoned Wal-Mart and converted it into office and clinic space for several county departments. The exterior facade was reworked and includes a covered entry courtyard and covered vehicular drop-off circle. This building was modified to meet the county's needs in an aesthetically pleasing, economical and timely manner. Issues addressed during the renovation included security, daylighting, privacy, acoustics, adequate restrooms, clear access routes and adequacy of building utility systems.
